Dr. Maryann Ivons was an ER and ICU nurse for 12 years before becoming a Naturopathic Physician in 1987. She spent 25 years in practice in Monroe, Washington. She taught at both Bastyr University and the Seattle School of Homeopathy. In 2012 she became Chair of Clinical Medicine and Clinical Training, and then Dean of Academic Affairs at the American Medical College of Homeopathy in Phoenix, Arizona. She served for 15 years with NPLEX as chair of Minor surgery, emergency medicine, and Homeopathy, writing the Naturopathic licensing exam. Dr. Ivons wrote the curriculum for training in Acute Care for AMCH. She was co-content developer of the on-line tool for homeopathic acute care and first aid, Homeopathic HouseCall. Dr. Ivons is currently creating continuing medical education online classes about homeopathy and holistic medicine.
